In-Person Video Depositions

In-person deposition videography provides dedicated on-location witness video and clear audio. KDay coordinates recording requirements with counsel and the court reporter while keeping the video assignment separate from court reporting.

Need more than witness-only video? Exhibit capture and picture-in-picture witness-plus-exhibit views can be planned into your in-person deposition.

Who it helps

For attorneys, law firms and reporting agencies arranging video depositions in conference rooms, offices or other agreed locations. Careful framing and audio capture help preserve the witness’s testimony for later review.

What to discuss when booking

Discuss the date and time zone, address, room access, estimated duration, witness and participant count, reporter contact, exhibits and any stated recording requirements. Identify delivery formats and anticipated post-production needs before the session.

How the assignment works

Kevin coordinates arrival and room setup, confirms framing and audio, and follows the agreed recording procedure. Breaks and session changes are coordinated with counsel and the reporter. Delivery scope is confirmed directly rather than assumed.

Potential deliverables

Potential deliverables include the agreed deposition video files, video/transcript syncing when a compatible transcript is supplied, and selected trial clips as supporting post-production options. KDay does not prepare the transcript or provide court reporting.

Optional deposition post-production

After an in-person video deposition, optional editing support can help prepare the recording for counsel’s review or presentation. Services may include video and transcript synchronization when a transcript is supplied, trial or presentation clips prepared to counsel’s direction, and reasonable audio or picture cleanup or enhancement within the limits of the original recording. Transcript production and court reporting are not included. Counsel directs the intended use and determines any requirements specific to the proceeding. Discuss source files, requested edits and delivery formats when planning the scope.
