Trial Video Services

KDay Video provides deposition video and transcript synchronization, counsel-directed excerpts and trial or presentation clips, and reasonable audio or picture cleanup for litigation teams. We work with attorneys, paralegals and court reporting agencies to prepare recordings for the intended review or presentation. Transcript production and court reporting are not included. Counsel directs the intended use and determines any requirements for a proceeding.

Deposition video and transcript synchronization

Synchronizing video with a supplied transcript helps a legal team locate testimony and review the corresponding recording. Counsel or the reporting agency supplies the transcript. Before work begins, we confirm the transcript format, available video files, completeness of the sources and requested delivery format. Synchronization depends on those source materials; KDay does not create, certify or correct the transcript.

Counsel-directed excerpts and presentation clips

Prepare selected deposition excerpts for trial preparation, mediation or another agreed presentation. Counsel identifies the testimony to include, using transcript references, timecodes or another agreed selection method. We confirm clip boundaries, sequence, file formats and review steps before editing. Counsel reviews the selections and determines how they will be used, including any proceeding-specific requirements.

Audio and picture cleanup within source limits

Reasonable adjustments may improve the clarity of an available recording, such as balancing audio levels or adjusting picture brightness and color. Feasibility depends on the source. Missing detail, severe distortion or inaudible speech may not be recoverable. This is not forensic restoration, and we do not promise that every recording can be improved. Proposed adjustments and their limits are discussed as part of the project scope.

Agree on the scope before editing

1. Discuss the purpose

Identify the intended audience, requested work, source files, supplied transcript format, clip selections and any important dates. Scope and scheduling are confirmed directly, without a fixed turnaround promise.

2. Confirm source materials

Agree on how to exchange the files, check the available sources and confirm the requested outputs. Secure transfer can be coordinated after initial contact. Please do not send sensitive case files through the public contact form.

3. Prepare and review

Complete the agreed synchronization, clips or adjustments, then provide the agreed materials for counsel’s review. Confirm clip boundaries, revisions and any additional versions within the scope.

4. Deliver the agreed files

Prepare the approved outputs in the agreed delivery formats. Counsel directs their use and addresses requirements specific to the proceeding.
