Hybrid Deposition Video
Hybrid deposition video combines participants in a physical room with others joining remotely. KDay plans professional in-room witness capture alongside coordinated meeting technology so the format supports the assignment.
Bring in-room testimony and remotely shared exhibits into a coordinated capture plan. Exhibit capture and picture-in-picture views are available when your hybrid deposition needs more visual context.
Who it helps
For attorneys and reporting agencies when the witness, counsel or reporter share a room but other participants attend online. Hybrid depositions need an intentional audio and participation plan, not simply a laptop placed on a table.
What to discuss when booking
Confirm who will attend in person and who will join remotely. Discuss the participant count, room dimensions, platform, internet access, audio needs and exhibit workflow. Identify the meeting host and the requested recording view and deliverables.
How the assignment works
Planning establishes room capture and the remote meeting arrangement. Kevin coordinates equipment placement and audio checks with the organizing team, then records to the agreed scope. Changes in attendance or room layout should be communicated before the session.
Potential deliverables
Potential deliverables include professional in-room deposition video and other agreed recording outputs. Transcript syncing and selected clips may be discussed separately. Platform views, remote audio and exhibits require advance coordination.
Optional deposition post-production
For hybrid deposition recordings, optional editing support is planned around the recorded sources and counsel’s requirements. Services may include video and transcript synchronization when a transcript is supplied, trial or presentation clips prepared to counsel’s direction, and reasonable audio or picture cleanup or enhancement within the limits of the original recording. Transcript production and court reporting are not included. Counsel directs the intended use and determines any requirements specific to the proceeding. Discuss source files, requested edits and delivery formats when planning the scope.
