Remote Deposition Video

Remote deposition video brings dedicated recording and technical coordination to proceedings where participants join from separate locations. KDay works with your team to confirm the platform, recording process and exhibit requirements before the session.

When exhibits are central to the testimony, plan remote participant and screen-share capture with picture-in-picture views that help viewers follow the witness and the material being discussed.

Who it helps

For legal teams and court reporting agencies scheduling remote depositions across locations. Planning helps participants understand how they will connect, be heard and appear in the requested recording.

What to discuss when booking

Provide the platform, host or organizer, participant count, time zones, anticipated duration, exhibit process and requested recording format. Discuss access permissions, technical checks and the procedure for interruptions.

How the assignment works

The assignment begins with platform and recording requirements, followed by agreed participant checks and session coordination. Recording and delivery follow the confirmed scope. If attendees share a physical room, consider a hybrid deposition plan.

Potential deliverables

Potential deliverables include agreed recording files and supporting post-production such as transcript syncing or selected clips when feasible. A basic platform recording is not automatically a formal deposition video; counsel should confirm the applicable requirements.

Optional deposition post-production

For remote deposition recordings, optional editing support is planned around the available source files and counsel’s requirements. Services may include video and transcript synchronization when a transcript is supplied, trial or presentation clips prepared to counsel’s direction, and reasonable audio or picture cleanup or enhancement within the limits of the original recording. Transcript production and court reporting are not included. Counsel directs the intended use and determines any requirements specific to the proceeding. Discuss source files, requested edits and delivery formats when planning the scope.
